This etching features two rocky coastline elements: the view from the top of Scoville Point, looking northwest toward Passage Island and lichen. The tiny island is Gem Island and it reminded me of a tiny cake. Passage Island is to the right of it, there is a lighthouse there that I was able to visit and draw. A couple of times I was lucky enough to spot ocean going freighters making their way across the lake. They would be visible for about ten minutes and then vanish into the horizon. Edwards Island is to the right.
