I started this plate sitting on the forest floor on the trail from the cabin down to the dock. I loved the little twinflowers, they are so tiny, yet solid and fragrant. This etching took about six states to be developed. It is 6" x 4" and was created by drawing into a ground copper plate with a magnifier and then dipped into a corrosive tank of ferric chloride. I've printed two small editions of five in blue/black and this one featured here, in green/black.
